The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s (PMD) chief meteorologist, Sardar Sarfaraz, stated on Monday that the city is expected to stay overcast for the next 24 hours, with drizzle and light rain continuing.
“The rain-causing low pressure system has departed Sindh. In an interview with Geo News, Sarfaraz stated that there was a likelihood of cloudy, drizzle, and light rain in Karachi at the moment.
Another monsoon system may impact lower Sindh, including Karachi, starting on August 26 or 27, the chief meteorologist continued.
The weatherman mentioned that there could be rain in Upper Sindh on August 21 in his prediction for the region.
