David Henrie has provided details on the process of developing Wizards Beyond Waverly Place, the new revival of Wizards of Waverly Place.
In an interview on The Red Carpet, Henrie described how he and Selena Gomez created the program.
He continued, “Selena and I, we get together fairly frequently, and when I got married, it’d just be her, me and my wife sitting around talking about what the characters would be doing.”
“And after a few years, we were like, ‘I think we’ve got a show’,” said henrie.
As executive producers, Henrie and Gomez make sure that the new show keeps the essence of the first one.
