DUBAI: The United Arab Emirates has introduced a visa amnesty program that offers a two-month window of opportunity, from September 1 to October 30, for citizens whose visas have expired to either regularize their status or return home without incurring fines.
With the help of this program, people whose tourist or residency visas have expired will be able to legally remain in the nation or depart without paying any fees.
Furthermore, the UAE authorities have made it clear that anyone who entered the nation illegally are not covered by the program. Those who meet the requirements can change their visa status without incurring any costs or penalties, and those who decide to depart the nation can do so without being prohibited from traveling.
