After starring in one of the largest film franchises of the 2000s, “Twilight,” with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart has some reflections.
The Oscar nominee, who came out as gay while hosting “Saturday Night Live” in 2017, said in an interview with Variety that was released on Thursday that she thought the plot of “Twilight,” which is based on author Stephenie Meyer’s book series of the same name, leaned toward LGBTQ+ territory.
Stewart claimed that “Twilight” “is such a gay movie,” even if she acknowledged that she doesn’t “think it necessarily started off that way.”
“It’s so hidden and not OK; I mean, Jesus Christ, Taylor (Lauther), Rob and myself,” the speaker continued, describing the narrative as “all about oppression,
