As of right now, 117 Palestinian journalists have died in the Gaza Strip, according to the enclave’s Government Media Office.
“The number of journalists killed has risen to 117 since the start of the genocidal war on Gaza after the death of two fellow journalists, Fouad Abu Khammash and Muhammad al-Thalathini,” the office stated in a statement.
It continued, saying that “since the start of the war, the Israeli army has been purposefully targeting Palestinian journalists to prevent the reporting of the crimes it commits in Gaza.”
