Donnel “Tupac” Tolliver was reported missing at 6:50 p.m. on Sunday, and the Aurora community came together to hunt for him. Collaborating with locals, a number of Colorado law enforcement organizations, including the state Bureau of Investigation, “rally the troops” in the hunt for Tolliver.
“Every team’s contributions were vital and greatly valued,” the police stated on social media.
Tolliver was discovered by authorities caught in a storm drain on Monday at around 12:30 p.m.
Tolliver was seen in police bodycam footage standing in a sizable storm culvert behind a closed steel grate while firefighters and law officials attempted to securely extract him.
In the video, authorities can be heard asking the teenager, “Are you thirsty, buddy?” For you, I have a protein bar.
After releasing Tolliver with the use of bolt cutters, the authorities transported him to a local hospital for further assessment.
