Malpractice has been reported in the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) in Pakistan, particularly in Karachi. As a result, six students were denied admission to NED University.
Parents and students were incensed when the university management forbade multiple students from entering the testing location.
One student who showed up for the test in spite of getting in a car accident was among those who were denied entry.
She begged and suffered injuries, but the administration refused to let her take the exam, causing a tearful scene at the entrance.
Parents said that after NED University administration closed the gates early, other students who were also refused access could be seen sobbing.
