The 12 people who were hurt in the event were listed by the Balochistan Health Department, and government spokesman Shahid Rind confirmed in a statement that a police van was targeted.
Rind stated that one of the injured was a police officer and denounced the incident.
The representative also stated that the bomb disposal squad teams were gathering evidence and that an investigation into the occurrence had been opened.
The injured were given basic medical attention in the emergency room of Civil Hospital before being transferred to Quetta Trauma Center for additional treatment, according to a statement released by the health department’s media coordinator, Dr. Waseem Baig.
In September 14, a planted bomb attack in the city’s Kuchlak hamlet claimed the lives of two police officers and injured another.
