Popular TikToker Nadeem Mubarak, also known as Nadeem Naniwala, was accused of putting an unauthorized number plate on his car, but the accusations against him were dropped by a Lahore Cantt court.
The court decided in Naniwala’s favor, finding that the allegations made against him were not sufficiently supported by the available evidence. The statement of recovery, which would have supported the claims, was missing from the case file, the ruling stated.
Consequently, the court denied the police’s plea for a 14-day judicial remand and ordered Nadeem Naniwala’s release. The judicial magistrate turned down the police’s request to hold Mubarak while their inquiry was ongoing.
Defense C police had booked Naniwala in the affair.
