Speaking to students enrolled in the National Security and War Course 2024–25 at Karachi’s Chief Minister House, he made these remarks.
240 military officers, government employees, and representatives of 24 friendly nations attended the function under the direction of Chief Instructor Major General Mohammad Akhtar.
According to CM Murad, “community engagement and outreach programs have been initiated to promote peace and harmony and prevent radicalization.”
He said that in order to bolster the police force, the Sindh government has put in place a number of initiatives, such as infrastructure development and training programs. The measures include the establishment of the Karachi Safe City Project and the downgrading of the police department’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and special branch.
