According to locals, the workmen were loading marble stones onto a truck when a rock fell on top of them, instantly killing both of them. The deceased were identified as Azizur Rahman and Zahoor of Tora Khawa region.
According to mine contractor Malik Fayyaz, the deadly incident happened while they were loading marble stones into a truck. He declared a compensation of Rs. 100,000 for every victim.
The locals urged that the government declare financial support for the departed person’s heirs.
