The Palace has exacted the finest retaliation against Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in response to recent revelations regarding Lilibet’s name.
Queen Elizabeth II was displeased that the Sussexes had named their daughter after her childhood nickname, according to Robert Hardman’s most recent book.
The book stated: “One privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been ‘as angry as I’d ever seen her’ in 2021 after the Sussexes announced she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter ‘Lilibet'”
“When the Sussexes tried to co-opt the palace into propping up their version of events, they were rebuffed,” he continues.
Arthur Edwards, a royal photographer for The Sun, observes that Harry’s assertion that the Queen supported and endorsed him has been disregarded by the latest information. He said: “With his documentaries and book Spare, Harry has made a pretty evident habit of disparaging his family and making claim after allegation. However, as we are now learning, memories differ, and some of his assertions were a little bit unbelievable. As they say, “revenge is best served cold,” and the Palace has fulfilled this statement.”
