The American pop singer’s initial performances at the location were canceled many days in advance due to issues with the new arena.
The updated dates, which are now Monday, June 30, and Tuesday, July 1, 2025, have increased the likelihood that Rodrigo will perform on June 27–29 at the Glastonbury Festival.
The original Co-op Live event tickets are still valid for the new dates, but some fans have lost hundreds of pounds that they had invested on airfare and lodging.
Significant embarrassments
The £365 million arena was supposed to host Rodrigo’s UK tour openers, but the dates were rescheduled.
It was just one of many significant setbacks for the 23,500-seat arena, which is the biggest indoor arena in the United Kingdom.
The 55,000-seat Philippine Arena, the largest arena in the world, hosted Rodrigo’s tour this past weekend. The singer found immense significance in the performance as her great-grandfather immigrated to the United States from the Philippines.
She is currently on the final leg of the Guts tour, which is in Australia, but she will also be doing a run of gigs in South America in March of next year.
