Yahya Afridi, the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP), has once again denied Justice Mansoor Ali Shah a no-objection certificate (NOC) to go outside for an international event.
According to The News, Justice Mansoor received an invitation last month from Yale Law School in the United States to attend a conference called “Global Constitutionalism 2025,” which is set for September 10–13.
It was discovered that for the previous five years, Justice Mansoor has been invited to the conference by the school. Renowned academics from Yale, Harvard, and Princeton universities are among the distinguished guests, along with top judges from around the globe.
According to sources, Justice Mansoor was supposed to speak at the event and give a paper about artificial intelligence and the legal system.
