24-karat gold was sold for Rs275,500 per tola on Saturday, up Rs1,600 from the previous trading day’s sale price of Rs273,900.
According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the cost of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs1,372 to Rs236,197 from Rs234,825 while the cost of 10 kilos of 22-karat gold increased to Rs216,514 from Rs215,256.
The price of 10-gram and tola silver stayed at Rs2,614.88, and Rs3,050, respectively.
The group also stated that the price of gold on the global market went up $16 to $2,656 from $2,640.
