According to an Oct. 10 court document that Fox News Digital was able to get, the star’s attorney called the request “outrageous” because Josh is “self-supporting.” Josh tried to stop Christina’s Tennessee house from being sold while the couple was still divorcing, thus the court documents were filed in response.
“Josh’s assertion that he sent a settlement offer in good faith is not a true description of the correspondence. According to the records, “it is hardly in good faith for the petitioner, Josh Hall, who is self-supporting, to ask [Christina] for $65,000 per month in spousal support after two years and nine months of marriage.
Josh doesn’t require spousal support from [Christina] because he recently paid $70,000 to settle the lease on [his] separate home, Bentley.
One day after the divorce was filed, Christina had previously accused Josh of moving $35,000 from her bank account into his personal account.
In the records that News was able to obtain, Christina said, “I would not have asked him to send myself my money the day after I told him we are getting divorced.”
