The Farrah Fawcett Foundation had its third annual Farrah Fawcett Foundation Tex-Mex Fiesta in Dallas, where Gray and Alan Stewart co-chair the event.
Shortly after losing her son Jeff to leukemia in 2020, the 84-year-old initially got engaged with the organization after winning their Angel Award at the inaugural Tex-Mex Fiesta in 2022.

Near Thanksgiving, she posted a second picture of herself holding Jeff while he was getting ready to carve a turkey.
There are so many things for which I am grateful. It was a privilege to be Jeff’s mother. Cooking with him is one of my favorite memories. She claimed that he always cooked his own cranberry sauce and sliced the turkey.
Gray shared two children with her ex-husband Ed Thrasher, including Jeff. Additionally, Kehly Sloane, an actress who played Gray’s secretary on “Dallas,” is their daughter.
