After New Delhi launched missile strikes on the cities of Punjab and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the Pakistani military responded appropriately by destroying brigade headquarters, including several checkpoints, and shooting down five Indian Air Force (IAF) jets and a combat drone.
Lt Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director-General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), assured reporters at his press conference on Wednesday that all Pakistan Air Force aircraft are safe following their encounter with Indian aircraft.
The top military official further mentioned that three French-built Rafales, one Su30MKI, and one MIG-29 Fulcrum are among the IAF fighter jets that were destroyed.
