ISLAMABAD: According to Nadra, the National Database and Registration Authority, expanding the number of offices will require the organization to raise the identity card charge.
Even though more offices have opened, the problem has not yet been resolved, and people typically have to wait hours to renew or make adjustments to their computerized national identity card (CNIC).
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, “61 tehsils do not have Nadra offices,” stated Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar, Nadra Chairman.
His remarks took place on Monday during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Interior, which Raja Khurram Nawaz chaired to discuss urgent matters pertaining to the authority.
