ISLAMABAD: According to The News, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has rejected PTI’s allegations of protester killings during the crackdown in Islamabad and criticized its leaders for deserting their employees and requesting proof of deaths.
“Reports of gunshot injuries and careless shooting by law enforcement are vile and completely untrue. Where are the bodies and graves? In a post on X, the foreign minister said.
His comments follow the PTI’s announcement that it would bring legal action against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other top government officials for allegedly killing supporters who were demonstrating in the federal capital and calling for the release of party founder Imran Khan, who is now in jail.
