The 22-year-old says Nakamura will be with her “pretty much most weeks” of the year. She is scheduled to travel to Brisbane next week for some warm weather training before to the start of the new season.
Since Raducanu won the US Open as a youngster in 2021, injuries have been a constant hindrance to her career.
However, after a trial earlier in the fall, she believes that the timing is ripe to bring on a committed fitness specialist to her squad.
“I think he is going to help me just really explore how far I can go, like athletically,” Raducanu stated.
