ISLAMABAD Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif gave the relevant authorities instructions on Friday to further lower power rates and speed up the action plan’s implementation for upcoming power generation projects as the current administration works to address the power sector’s many issues.
While presiding over a meeting to assess and deliberate on the nation’s future plans for electricity and power, the premier gave the directions. Federal Ministers Dr. Musadik Malik, Minister of State Ali Pervaiz Malik, Ahad Khan Cheema, and Awais Leghari were among the authorities present at the meeting.
He received updates on the status of the current hydropower projects throughout the nation during the conference.
PM Shehbaz emphasized the importance of giving low-cost power projects priority based on local resources, stating that these initiatives result in environmentally benign.
