KARACHI: As the investigation into model-actor Humaira Asghar’s death continues to go forward, police claimed on Saturday night that they have discovered material from her electronic devices.
She had been living alone for seven years when she was discovered dead on July 8 in an apartment in the Ittehad Commercial neighborhood of Defence Phase VI.
After the apartment’s owner filed a case, a court-appointed bailiff was in to enforce an eviction order over unpaid rent, which is when her body was found.
Investigators have accessed her laptop, tablet, and three cell phones in a breakthrough that could lead to new clues, according to officials with knowledge of the case.
