HANGU: The local government confirmed on Tuesday that a second convoy of 25 vehicles carrying necessities had arrived in the Kurram region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
With this development, another shipment of necessities, such as flour, sugar, ghee, and medications, has been successfully delivered to the impacted areas of the Kurram district, which was in the news for months after a wave of tribal violence that killed over 130 people and forced the closure of roads for more than 100 days.
Twenty more cars, nevertheless, were returned to Tal after failing to receive clearance.
The necessary supplies will be dispersed throughout the district, particularly in Parachinar, Boshehraa, and Alizai.
Many residents crowded around the cars when the commodities convoy arrived in Parachinar.
