Similar to a surge in global markets, gold prices in Pakistan have significantly increased.
After a two-day drop, the price of gold increased by Rs2,900 per tola on Wednesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa and Jewelers Association (APSA).
The price of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs2,487 to Rs240,741, while the new price is Rs280,800 per tola.
The international gold price rose by $29 per ounce to $2,690, which was followed by this spike.
The hike follows yesterday’s decline of Rs 1,201 per 10 grams and Rs 1,400 per tola.
