Regarding the acquittal pleas submitted by Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and his wife Bushra Bibi in the recent Toshakhana case, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sent a notice to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The court postponed the hearing until January 28 in order to get the FIA’s response.
The hearing on the acquittal requests was presided over by Justice Raja Inam Amin Minhas.
Salman Safdar, Khan’s attorney, asked the court to halt the trial during the proceedings. However, the plea was denied by Justice Raja Inam, who stated that there is currently no court precedence for halting criminal proceedings. Additionally, Safdar asked for a bench swap, proposing that Justice Gul
