In her protracted court struggle over a real estate property, Katy Perry is attempting to keep her fiancé Orlando Bloom from being called as a witness.
For the uninitiated, Katy’s manager, Bernie Gudvi, purchased the property owned by injured veteran Carl Westcott in Santa Barbara, California, in 2020. He later filed a lawsuit against the singer, claiming that he sold the property for $15 million while under a lot of medication following surgery. He eventually acknowledged his error and attempted to back out of the arrangement.
He insisted that the sale be ruled unenforceable by the court. The case’s initial trial phase determined that the sale was enforceable and requested that Carl provide Katy the keys.
Katy is going to testify in the second phase. However, Carl subponed Orlando.
