RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced Saturday that a terrorist slain in a recent security operation in Datta Khel, North Waziristan, was an Afghan national.
The person known as Luqman Khan, also known as Nusrat, son of Kamal Khan, was killed by the security forces in an operation on February 6, according to the military’s media wing. He lived in Afghanistan’s Khost province’s Spera District.
It further stated that the officials of the Interim Afghan government were being asked to assume the individual’s body because he was an Afghan citizen.
“These occurrences provide unquestionable proof that Afghan nationals are involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
