The “03 Bonne & Clyde” of the Super Bowl halftime performance are now Beyoncé and Jay-Z, a recording industry power couple.
Jay-Z has chosen himself to be the headliner of the Super Bowl 2027 halftime performance after the 56-year-old celebrity rapper and founder of Roc Nation entertainment organization struck a deal in 2019 to give himself a major say in who takes the stage during the most viewed music event of the year.
During a commercial break during the Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on Monday Nite Football on ESPN, Roc Nation revealed Jay-Z as the main attraction.

Jay Z Set for Super Bowl Halftime Show
“This has been a journey, from Reasonable Doubt to standing on the Super Bowl halftime stage,” Jay-Z said in a statement. “Thirty years of culture, music, and work on the largest stage in the world.” This run is still a dream come true.
The Grammy winner has been on a stadium tour for the past three months, commemorating the 30th and 20th anniversaries of his albums Reasonable Doubt and The Blueprint, respectively. The tour will end on Saturday, October 24 at SoFi Stadium, the location of the 2027 Super Bowl.

Many people have speculated that Miley Cyrus, the star of Hannah Montana, who recently released her most recent album, Bass Persuades, might be a strong candidate. Another rumor said that Justin Bieber, another pop sensation, may play at the halftime performance of the 2027 Super Bowl.

Bieber and Jay-Z have previously performed together on stage, and the pop singer has insisted that he is a fan of the rapper from his early career. Although neither act will be the main act of the upcoming show, their appearances during the set are also not completely out of the question.
