ISLAMABAD: On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to deepening its partnership with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in order to fully utilize nuclear technology for peaceful ends, guaranteeing ongoing advantages for both the Pakistani people and the international community.
The announcement was made while Rafael Mariano Grossi, the director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), paid the prime minister a courtesy call at PM House.
According to a statement released by the PM Office, they talked about the peaceful uses of nuclear technology in a number of fields during the discussion, such as industry, food preservation, agriculture, water management, and cancer diagnosis and treatment.
