Azma Bokhari, the Punjab Information Minister, claimed on Sunday that the recent attacks on foreign fast-food restaurants nationwide were the result of a well-planned operation.
The provincial communications minister vehemently denounced the attacks and said that people’s property was being harmed while speaking at a press conference in Lahore.
Twenty-five thousand Pakistanis work for these restaurant chains. The minister stated that Pakistan was suffering from the attacks on the food chain and that the person who perished in those attacks was also a Pakistani.
“There is a planned strategy behind the attacks in Punjab,” she continued.
