ISLAMABAD: At the request of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Turkiye on a formal two-day visit.
PM Shehbaz was met at the airport by Yashar Guler, the defense minister of Turkey.
The premier is traveling with a high-level delegation as well, according to a news release from the PM Office.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed Ishaq Dar, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and PM Tariq Fatemi’s Special Assistant are all part of this delegation.
The prime minister and President Erdogan will address bilateral relations in great detail during the visit. It is also anticipated that the two leaders will discuss recent events in the area and elsewhere.
