Ahead of weekend negotiations between Iran and the United States about Iran’s nuclear program, Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman arrived in Tehran on Thursday to meet with authorities.
Iran’s state media said Thursday that the defense minister brought a message from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, but they did not elaborate on what the message contained.
This weekend, Iran and the United States will meet again in Rome to discuss Tehran’s controversial uranium enrichment program.
