Moscow: On the eve of a second round of negotiations with the Trump administration, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi stated Friday that his country believes it can strike a nuclear agreement with the United States as long as Washington is serious.
“Reaching agreements is possible if they show seriousness of intent and do not make unrealistic demands,” Araqchi said at a Moscow news conference following discussions with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
During the first round of negotiations on the agreement, held in Oman last week, Iran had observed the U.S.’s seriousness, according to Araqchi. Rome will host the second round on Saturday.
