LIVERPOOL: On a historic day at a sun-drenched Anfield on Sunday, Liverpool came back from a goal down to smash Tottenham Hotspur 5-1 and win the Premier League title in spectacular fashion.
Dominic Solanke put Tottenham ahead in the 12th minute, rocking Liverpool, who needed just one point to secure a record-tying 20th English crown with four games left.
However, Liverpool responded with a Luis Diaz tap-in, a thunderbolt from Alexis Mac Allister, and a Cody Gakpo shot just before halftime, only momentarily dampening the victory celebration.
Mohamed Salah ended a six-match scoring drought in the 63rd minute of a lopsided second half by putting a low shot past Guglielmo Vicario.
