From May 1 to 4, the Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast wind, thunderstorms, and sporadic hailstorms across the country’s upper and central regions. During this time, the current heatwave is probably going to end.
The Met Office predicts that moist currents will likely infiltrate northeast Punjab starting on May 1 and that a westerly wave will approach the country’s upper regions on the evening of April 30.
This weather system is likely to cause wind, thunderstorms, and isolated hailstorms and heavy rain in a number of locations.
The impacted regions include Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Narowal, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Poonch, Hattian, Bagh, Haveli, Sudhanoti, Kotli, Bhimber, and Mirpur).
