The incident occurred on April 29–30 at midnight.
In a swift and efficient response, the Pakistan Army silenced enemy weapons and caused significant damage. According to reports, the retaliatory strikes devastated a number of Indian positions, including the Chakpatra station inside India-occupied Kashmir, which was apparently reduced to ruins.
Security authorities saw the cross-border aggression as an expression of New Delhi’s growing animosity, pointing out that India had previously conducted a crackdown on Muslim communities in the seized zone and evacuated civilians from border villages.
In addition, the officials emphasized that the Pakistan Army was still on high alert and ready to defend the nation’s territorial integrity, promising a “befitting response” to any attack.
