Details indicate that Root has eclipsed the run totals of Indian batting great Rahul Dravid and South African star all-rounder Jacques Kallis.
With an incredible 15,291 runs in 200 Test matches, 51 tons, and 68 hundreds, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar has dominated the list. Ricky Ponting, the former captain of Australia, has amassed 13,378 runs at an average of 51.85, hitting 62 fifties and 41 hundreds.
With an impressive average of 55.37, Jacques Kallis has amassed 13,289 runs in 166 games, snagging 45 tonnes and smashing 58 fifties. Rahul Dravid’s total score is 13,288.
