In connection with an alleged attack on Islamabad police outside the home of the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Lahore Cantt Court issued a non-bailable arrest warrant for Shibli Faraz, a top PTI politician, and ordered his detention and court appearance.
The PTI founder has also been called before the court on July 30. In order for the PTI founder to appear in court, the court has sent summons notices to the authorities at Adiala Jail.
Judicial Magistrate Sohail Rafique previously heard the case, and the court made it clear that the accused must appear in court.
The court set July 30 as the date for the case’s next hearing.
