According to the most recent development, the country’s fourth monsoon season brought with it stormy weather and a lot of rain. Accidents claimed the lives of almost 14 individuals and injured 17.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) reports that 628 people have been injured and 266 people have died as a result of the rains since June 26.
With 144 recorded deaths, Punjab had the largest number, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 63, Sindh with 25, Balochistan with 16, Gilgit-Baltistan with 8, Kashmir with 2, and Islamabad with 8.
Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan is still experiencing heavy rains. In Skardu, where a search is being conducted for 15 missing tourists, a cloudburst caused significant damage.
