After not getting a formal answer to a notification about a fraudulent claim of first place in the 2025 Asian Youth Netball Championship, the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) has taken additional action against the Pakistan Netball Federation.
The federation was sent a show-cause notice, which asked why a Rs. 1 million fine shouldn’t be applied. The notice came after the PSB requested in a previous letter dated July 13 that the federation provide a 72-hour explanation for a misstatement. No response was sent in the allotted time.
The PSB claims that this silence could be taken as an acknowledgement of deception. The Netball Federation wrote to the board on July 9 to request a monetary reward for winning first place.
