After more than two years in hiding, Hammad Azhar, the former federal minister of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has made the decision to turn himself in and appear in court, according to party sources.
This comes after his father, former minister and prominent politician Mian Muhammad Azhar, passed away recently.
According to sources, Hammad Azhar has called his legal team for last-minute talks after concluding conversations with his close aides. He is anticipated to appear in court shortly to request bail in a number of cases that have been filed against him.
