According to officials, a prolonged Ukrainian drone strike on Russia resulted in the temporary closure of Moscow’s main airports and the cancellation of at least 140 flights.
The Russian defense ministry said that since Saturday morning, more than 230 Ukrainian drones have been shot down over Russia, including 27 above the capital.
The capital’s four main airports experienced disruptions, and over 130 planes had to be rerouted, according to Russia’s aviation agency. Since then, everyone have returned to their regular activities.
Meanwhile, regional officials reported that Russian airstrikes on Ukraine overnight killed at least three people.
