In 9-1-1, Angela Bassett has said that she is not prepared to say goodbye to Bobby Nash, who was portrayed by Peter Krause.

For those who are unaware, Nash, a popular character on 9-1-1, gave his life in the episode that aired on April 17.

The 66-year-old American actress, who plays Nash’s wife and Sgt. Athena Grant-Nash on the show, spoke candidly to PEOPLE magazine at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday, May 5, weeks after the tragedy. She acknowledged that she is still in shock and has not come to terms with the loss.
