At the end of the nation’s four days of celebrations to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day, King Charles and Prince William placed wreaths in Westminster Abbey on Thursday.
Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, and Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence were also there alongside the king and his spouse, Queen Camilla.
There were also the Duke of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and others.
According to a story on express.co.uk titled “The one royal missing from VE Day service – as she hasn’t appeared in public for 12 years,” the wife of the Duke of Kent did not attend.
