In a daring retaliation against what they characterize as ongoing Indian cyber-terrorism and anti-Pakistan digital warfare, a group of volunteer hackers from Pakistan have started a coordinated cyber attack known as “Operation Salar.”
Reliable sources claim that this operation is Pakistan’s digital response to India’s continuous crimes against Kashmiris, anti-Pakistan rhetoric, and recent cyberattacks. According to the hackers, the campaign’s main goal is to make it clear that Pakistan’s digital borders, national honor, and sovereignty cannot be compromised.
Four significant Indian websites were compromised in the initial wave of this cyberattack, giving the attackers access to private information. To illustrate the scope and significance of their conduct, the hackers allegedly placed the Pakistani national flag on the vandalized websites as a symbolic gesture.
