Following tensions between India and Pakistan, Telangana police say members of the ruling extremist BJP vandalized a Karachi Bakery store in Hyderabad and demanded that the owners change the name of the business.
According to Indian Express, the police stated that the incident occurred on Saturday at 3 p.m. The protests were directed against the Karachi Bakery location in Shamshabad, Hyderabad.
“No employees at the bakery were harmed,” K Balaraju, inspector at the RGI Airport Police Station, told The Indian Express. There was no significant harm done.
“We were on the spot within a few minutes of the incident and could disperse the members of the political outfit.”
