Tom Cruise, star of Mission Impossible, recently shared some pearls of wisdom with the industry’s young performers.
According to the Times of London, the celebrity gave this advice when being awarded a British Film Institute Fellowship. He feels that “it is important to understand the tools around you.”
The actor even expressed his dissatisfaction with the curriculum provided by film schools due to their inability to adequately teach prospective pupils filmmaking technologies.
He even described how “Tech exists. It is similar to knowing the stage as an actor, but many artists do not learn how to comprehend the lens and its capabilities, as well as the reasons for eye movement and its effects, at film school.
