The secretary-general’s leadership and diplomatic attempts to relieve the difficult situation in South Asia, which had been seriously threatened by India’s unwarranted and unjustifiable action against Pakistan, were much appreciated by the prime minister.
He claimed that the secretary-general’s ongoing involvement and preventive diplomacy showed his unwavering dedication to upholding the goals and ideals of the UN Charter and promoting peace in South Asia.
