Over 100 fighter jets participated in a long-range aerial conflict between Pakistan and India that military analysts are describing as unique in modern history.
The battle, which took place on the evening of May 6 and 7, was characterized as a singular incident in the history of aerial combat. At exactly 12:10 a.m., India initiated a vigorous air campaign with more than 60 combat aircraft, including sophisticated Rafale jets, SU-30s, and MiG-29s.
Under the cover of darkness, these planes made an attempt to breach Pakistani airspace. With 42 of its own aircraft, including JF-17 Thunders, Mirages, and China-supplied J-10Cs, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) was ready to intercept the Indian jets in a coordinated attack.
